I took four years of French in high school. My friends all went on the French Club trip right after graduation. It was 18 years before I got the chance to visit Paris. That was the summer of 2006. I fell in love immediately. I got the chance to return to Paris for four days last summer.
My kids are both in French classes now. They have a phenomenal teacher. She says Elli will be ready for our trip to Paris over spring break, when I get to introduce my daughter to the wonders of Paris.
I’m so excited.
